    This Silver Stuffing or Gravy Spoon was made during the years when the silver standard was raised from Sterling (925/1000) to Britannia (958/1000) Standard. It is in the typical Hanoverian Pattern with rat-tail terminal and tip'd up ribbed stem,
    is 12 1/4" in length and weighs 122 grams.
    This Stuffing Spoon is bottom-marked with 4 hallmarks;
    Makers' Mark 'MA, crown above, star below' for John Mathew (Grimwade 1985)
