    Description

    Here's an authentic early free blown pontiled blackglass "onion" rum bottle from the 1740s Colonial Period....guaranteed authentic and over 250 years old.....Free blown classic "onion"......open pontil scar pushed up into sunken bottom.....crude sheared lip with drippy applied ring collar... olive green ......7 1/4"tall x 5 1/2"round....excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. Found in the ocean and amazingly clean since it was buried in the sand. One spot of inside haze where the bottle had layed on its side.....A great looking bottle with some natural crude swirls inside the glass from when it was blown. This was the most popular style of rum bottle in the early to mid 1700s.
