    This is a crude early pontiled case gin bottle hand blown in the 1770s Colonial Period or earlier......no embossing....hand blown in a tapered dip mold, so there are no mold seams....sharp jagged open pontil scar on bottom...crude drippy applied ring lip....dark olive green blackglass....tapered square case gin with crude "footed" base.....10 1/4"tall.....Excellent condition with no chips. Some light inside haze.  These are getting much more difficult to find these days as the digging has all but dried up. Guaranteed authentic pre 1800
