    Description

    Presented is an early Victorian, English sterling silver large soup or serving spoon made by William Eaton of London in 1839. This piece is in the classical Fiddle pattern and the handle has an old, original monogram of the letter B at the top.
    The back of the spoon is marked with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head for London, a duty mark, a date letter D for the year 1839 and a maker's mark for William Eaton.
    This piece is in excellent condition for its age. There are no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals and no repairs.
    The spoon measures 9 inches long and weighs 80 grams.
