Description
A very nice and rare monochrome kobalt blue German Westerwald stoneware jug, Stein.This jug has an original pewter lid with an Amsterdam makers mark, See detail photo, this pewter has has an old repair, See extra photo
The date of this jug is app. 1690, Guaranteed.
The size = 21 cm = 8.27 Inches.
CONDITION:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!!
NO restoration. The jug has a larger VISIBLE hairline crack running from the top down of 7cm = 2,75 Inches, See also extra photo, + a shallow chip inside and outside the top rim, also a very very thin related small hairline, only visible under stark light, inside. The Pewter lid has an old repair, See: Extra photos!!!
!!! The jug is fully inspected with the point of a sharp scapel as nowadays
