I recently bought a built 427 shortblock out of an estate. The engine was built with very high end parts and had never been started. The block was a 1970 casting which was more suitable for a 454 restoration. I decided to tear the engine down and sell the individual components. This is a set of 8 BRC aluminum connecting rods removed from the engine described above. This rods were installed in the block and the engine was never started. The rods are all ink stamped 1500604 as shown. The caps are all cast "BRC 62" as shown. The only possible modification I see to these rods is small grooves on the sides of the caps for oiling. These are awesome rods that were probably crazy expensive. This is your chance to own them at NO RESERVE!
