South East Asian region, of Burmese/Thai origin sterling silver repousse hinged octagon form box, decorated with hand chased heavy floral, leaf, scroll-work, animal & female figure motifs. Each side depicting various animal figures from lions, stags to birds along with primitives style floral & leaf décor. Hand chased matted ground, weed form repeated geometric continues design. Hand hammered base floor, hinge work properly, not
monogrammed. Overall very good condition, scattered mild scratches, some tarnishing & minor oxidation, mild rubbings, clean interior.
Marked: unmarked, tested with 18k acid for silver content
