  • Condition: No chips, cracks, crazing, etc. There is a small square spot on the backside, bottom of her blue skirt where some residue is evident (probably from a sticker or label previously applied). There is also a very small chip off of one of the green leaves on her back (less than 1/16”). This is an estate find as is being sold as found. We've dusted it, but it may need a more thorough cleaning by the Buyer.

    Josefina Aguilar Figure Frida Kahlo Blue Skirt Leaf Top HeadBow Mexican Folk Art
    This clay sculpture figurine features Frida Kahlo standing, wearing a beautiful blue skirt with an arrangement of leaves to cover her top. Her neck is adorned with a necklace of stones. Her head-dress appears to be a red and black material wrapped together in the shape of a heart or pretzel. She is standing, posed, with her arms at her side and her hands near her hips.
    Sculpted and signed by Josefina Aguilar from Ocotlán de Morelos, Oaxaca in Mexico.
    Made in Oaxaca, Mexico.
    Measures approximately 7” tall x 3” wide.
    Figurine weighs approximately 7 ounces.
