t is a good practice to enclose the Amplifier and speaker inside a project box to minimize flexing of the wires as repeated flexing and bending of the wires will cause pre-mature breaking of the wires.
The amp is really easy to use, just hook up a 9volt battery and plug the cord into the radio.
The volume can be adjusted to your preference but if you go too loud, it may crackle the audio.
It has a small white potentiometer on it that you can turn up or down to change the volume.
When you have Power, an LED on the amp board will light up. It will drain the battery overnight if you don't cut power.
Since it does not have a power switch so the easiest way to cut power is to remove the battery or disconnect the terminal block that has 4 wires running to it.
If you disconnect the terminal block, be careful to observe orientation when plugging it back in - it is not polarized...When you rec-connect it, make sure the red wire goes to the amp terminal marked VCC on the pc board.
You can easily mount the amp in a plastic or wood enclosure.
