    Description

Ojibwa moccasins from c.1880-1890. Classic vamp and central front seam type, with nice floral beadwork in classic period colors, on vamp and cuffs. All beadwork is intact. Bead colors include medium green, powder blue, light translucent red and a nice chalk white. Red military braid binding remnants. Moccasins are still supple, with bottom parts showing some more stiffness and wear, see photos! 10 inches long. Overall a very nice well preserved pair of moccasins!
