    Description

    This is a scarce square pontil German made early free blown blackglass "onion" rum bottle from the 1740s Colonial Period...(you are only buying the ONE bottle on the right).......guaranteed authentic and over 250 years old.....Free blown classic "onion"......unusual square pontil scar pushed up into sunken bottom.....crude sheared lip with drippy applied ring collar... pretty green color ......6 3/4"tall x 5 1/2"round....excellent condition with only one small shallow chip on edge of lip; no other chips or damage. Found in the ocean so has some normal light haze & light wear.....This is a much harder to find German "onion" bottle with the square pontil scar!....This was the most popular style of rum bottle in the early to mid 1700s.
