    Description

    Estimated to have been made in 1870's, Native American artists began adding beadwork to Euroamerican leather gloves. Worn iin the day by both Indian and non-Indian communities.
    Very few available for sale have this amount of intricate beading. This old pair of beaded Native American gauntlets are about 15" long from top to end of middle finger and 8 1/2" across top of cuff. The beadwork is quite beautiful and all intact, no loose beads.
