    Description

This is a vintage original mid-century milk glass light fixture. A friend bought a house built in 1963 and I replaced the original kitchen/hall/dining lights for him.  This is one that I removed and it was fully functional before I took it down.
    Dimensions:
this chandelier style hangs about 17" from the ceiling
and the fixture portion is about 11" H, for total of 28"
    fixture is about 17" across
main globe: diameter at top opening = 3.5", at widest = 6", and at bottom opening = 5.5"
bottom decorative glass piece/finial: widest diameter is 3.5"
Please see pics for condition, but here are some details:
has original wiring at the sockets that's in good shape but I REWIRED the main line to the sockets (see last pic which shows how original was brittle and had cracked - this is why I noted the fixture was modified). I photographed the fixture lit after the rewire to prove it works.
metal is traditional brass (antique brass in today's color descriptions) - I wiped off the basic surface dust and grime. I did not polish the whole fixture but I did clean some areas with Brasso (original chain when I had the wire out, and top brass area below chain because thought had slight corrosion but was actually some sort of drip/splatter that cleaned right off)
ALL GLASS FULLY INTACT with no visible chips/cracks/damage: 3 milk glass lanterns/globes, 3 frosted hurricane 'liners', 3 milk glass bottom finials. There are a few flea bites on one bottom finial but gets nested under a brass cap so is not visible (see detail pics). I carefully hand washed all the glass pieces in the sink.
Honestly I haven't noticed any visible flaws - this is really a nice vintage fixture
OTHER LISTINGS FOR MATCHING FIXTURES: there is one hanging 3 light chandelier and a pair of flush mount fixtures
if you are looking for matching pieces. These match exactly in shade style and metal color but are not exact matches in style/shape as each varies a bit. It would likely be best to ship each fixture separately however so you would not likely see any combo shipping advantage.
I'm only allowed 12 pics so if you need to see more let me know
    SHIPPING
I will disassemble the bottom finials so I can separate all the glass from the metal in shipping and pack safer
Buyer pays shipping and full insurance. I tried my best to estimate the packing situation needed to keep glass shades apart from the metal and I'm trying to err on the high side so I can refund any overage rather than have to try invoicing for any additional. I can't see actual shipping charges so if it's really high I could see if sending in 2 smaller boxes comes out better than one giant one
have to go with Priority Mail - according to ebay, USPS is currently not offering Parcel Select Ground to ebay and I use ebay's tools for my shipping
YOU HAVE SOME CHOICES HERE SO PLEASE MESSAGE ME BEFORE PURCHASING IF NEEDED:
My packing/shipping estimate assumes buyer wants to include the hurricane liners, so allows for maximum box size and shipping weight. If you prefer to skip them and use decorative bulbs then please let me know so I'm not making room for them.
Original chain on fixture allows 17" drop from ceiling so you can easily shorten on your own if needed.  If you need a larger drop, I have a modern antique brass chain that I can borrow from another project and it matches well (so obviously that is not vintage 1960s - I have a pic if you need to see it). That would allow a drop up to about 40-42" (base chain is 44" but shortens when wire wrapped in) so I would need to know the chain length required and then restring the chain portion.
Thanks for looking! Use Contact Seller for questions.
I have made best efforts to describe and photograph so that the description is clear and complete, but you need to ask questions prior to bidding/buying if you aren't sure about something
Buyer pays shipping - I believe in charging actual shipping, so I have used ebay's estimate
SALES TAX - if sales tax is required then ebay collects it upon final payment (I have no control over this)
If you would prefer a different shipping method OR NEED COMBINED for multiple items then contact me before making payment.
I'm just selling my stuff, not doing this for a living with an online store, so I'm not accepting refunds.  Of course the exception to this is if you truly feel the item is defective or not as expected.  In that case absolutely contact me so I have an opportunity to remedy.
I will do everything possible to ship promptly & earn good feedback - after receiving payment I will ship by the 3rd business day since I can't always drop everything to get to the Post Office.
